SCIENTIFIC INITIATION
__________
Scientific Initiation (SI) is a type of academic research developed by undergraduate students in various areas of knowledge. Its objective is to awaken scientific vocation and encourage potential talents among students, through their participation in research projects, introducing young people to the scientific method; and providing students, guided by a qualified researcher, with the learning of techniques and methods, as well as stimulating the development of scientific thinking and creativity resulting from the conditions created by direct confrontation with research problems.
The program has two types of IC: PIBIC-CNPq, which has a CNPq scholarship, and ICSB, scientific initiation without a scholarship.
